Kai, “The Golden Wave,” describes himself as romantic, expressive, and affectionate. His favorite thing to do is surf.
The backyard of Nutwood Commons Lodge is his favorite place for parties and gatherings, including Nutz in the Woods.
One favorite community memory is Nutmeg’s return home and the way everyone rallied around him.
Kai used to be afraid of sharks, despite his love of surfing. He says he has since learned to coexist peacefully with them and share the waves.
